Reminder on the Submission of Statistics Reports

New Year greetings and best wishes from the Statistics Section of the Ministry of Tourism.

We take this opportunity to remind you of the requirements under the "Regulation on Collection of Data for the Compilation of Tourism Statistics" (Regulation No. 2011/R-l 9). The Regulation, as well as an unofficial translation of it can be downloaded from our website.

Please note that it is a mandatory requirement under the above-mentioned regulation, that all tourist accommodating establishments in the Maldives, submit weekly and monthly reports to this Ministry. This regulation contains details of all the data that needs to be submitted along with sample formats and submission deadlines. Hence, we advise you to submit these reports within the given deadlines.

Furthermore, with reference to our circulars (No. 88-SS/CIR/2016/23 dated 13 July 2016 and No. 88-SS/CIR/2017/0 3, dated 31 January 2017) we request those who have still not registered at our online platform, Tourism information Management System (TIMS), to register to submit the above-mentioned reports.
