with recent developments in the travel industry around the world due to the sudden insolvency of Thomas Cook group, the Ministry of Tourism would like to assure alltourist resorts in the Maldives that we are workinB closely with all concerned authorities and international partners to address all issues related to the situation.

The Government of Maldives assures full support to the tourism industry and the travelers affected and we kindly request all operators to provide maximum relief to these travelers and seek any assistance needed from the Ministry or relevant government authority. Please also note that the Ministry has placed a Help Desk at Velana lnte rnationa I Airport to assist the affected travelers, and set up a Hotline (9423131,72231311to report any emergencies related to this situation.
