FOREIGN SECRETARY OF INDIA CALLS ON THE MINISTER OF TOURISM

The Foreign Secretary of the Republic of India Harsh Vardhan Shringla called on the Minister of Tourism Dr. Abdulla Mausoom today.

During the meeting held at the Ministry of Tourism this afternoon, the Minister and the Foreign Secretary highlighted the strong bilateral relations between Maldives and India. Minister Mausoom conveyed his gratitude to the Indian Government for the implementation of the travel bubble and the timely introduction of the cargo ferry services between the two countries and highlighted the increasing number of tourist arrivals from India. Foreign Secretary highlighted the need for continuing the ongoing promotional activities and discussed on the increasing demand for flights between Maldives and India.
